When did you join ABN AMRO Lease?
I joined ABN AMRO Lease as a Portfolio Relationship Manager in April 2017 from Lombard, where I worked as a Credit Analyst.
Describe your role at ABN AMRO Lease…
The primary role of the job is to work alongside the Relationship Directors to ensure new and existing business is structured and maintained. This is achieved by helping write credit papers and providing the appropriate support to help get these through credit and pay-out.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
The thing I enjoy most about my role is the challenges it brings and the variety of tasks I get to be involved in. Having come from a credit background, being in a sales environment gives me the opportunity to broaden my knowledge of the products and market.
What’s the biggest value-add your role brings to clients?
Given my credit background, I feel I add value by being able to pre-empt the things Risk will want to see in the credit papers, which in turn means clients receive quicker decisions.
What's the best way to start the work week?
For me the ideal start the week is listening to my favourite NFL podcasts on the way to the office.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Spending quality time with my family is one of my favourite things to do. Although when I can, I enjoy gaming and watch sports such as golf, football and American football.
What is on your bucket list?
I don’t really have a bucket list, but one thing I would love to do is go to Hawaii and visit the waterfall where the helicopter lands in Jurassic Park.
What was your dream job as a child?
I think it was most likely to be a striker for Arsenal. Due to a combination of never being scouted or being very good, this dream never became reality.
What makes your heart beat faster?
Seeing my three year old daughter trying to climb the kitchen drawers. But normally, watching Arsenal or The Patriots play.
