I joined ABN AMRO Lease in June 2019. I was previously employed as a credit officer at BAML, in the Leasing line of business, where I was evaluating the financial strength and creditworthiness of clients, taking into account any risk mitigating elements and reporting the transaction in line with the bank’s credit risk policies and framework. Prior experience includes work at a small Investment fund in the UK and an internship at the Athens Stock Exchange.
As a Junior Relationship Director in the Specialist Asset Finance team, my role entails daily interaction and collaboration with individuals and teams across the business. Meetings with clients, expanding the client base and assessing exciting new equipment funding opportunities are also key attributes of the role.
The promise of meeting new people at every corner, the exhilarating feeling of funding new opportunities, but mainly the interaction with my colleagues. I also believe that ABN AMRO’s leading role and focus on sustainability is a prime example of where the industry as a whole should be steered towards. Keep it up ABN!
I like to challenge the traditional way of doing things and always strive for improvement, both in my personal attributes and professional engagements. Always looking to automate and improve workflow efficiencies which ultimately benefit our offering to our clients.
A strong morning coffee, obviously.
Reading, board-gaming and dancing. I practice all three on a weekly basis! Furthermore, I take delight in walking around London and researching the backstory of places and buildings, their respective historic importance and architectural style.
What isn’t? A month long road trip of the US (not just Route 66). Another trip I would love to plan, but on the extreme end of the spectrum, would be to cross the Sahara desert with an off roader, Paris-Dakar style. Antarctica…
At a very young age I sought to be an archaeologist / palaeontologist! I especially loved mummies and dinos. Any open positions in the British Museum please let me know!
Other than chocolate and coffee!? Well then, chocolate flavoured coffee probably and vice versa. Having said that, I do also enjoy a good read on a Sunday morning in a quiet coffee shop.
